It's always a dangerous thing to out oneself to a stranger, especially in the course of conflict. One could certainly make the argument that if you were arrested and and testimony were brought against you it would be a problem for you. So often all people hear when you're talking is, "Blah, blah, blah, blah, GUN!!"

"Officer, he came in, argued with me, he was angry about our store policy, he said that he wouldn't come back, and oh yea, on the way out he told me he was carrying a gun." You have to ask yourself if you would want this TRUTH to be conveyed to a police officer, and a local television reporter.

OK, so what would be the charges? I guess our perjuring car salesman could say he waved the gun around, but presumably he could make that argument about anyone that came in the store and didn't buy a car, regardless of whether the person had a CHL or not.

If the store employee was really mad, he could have said that OP killed a homeless person because he was upset that he couldn't carry a gun in the store. I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not going to risk taking the "ride" for murder... Just buy the car!
