The councilman stated that there were no signs prohibiting carry at the meeting. The newspaper article is wrong. CHL carry is only prohibited if the government meeting is posted 30.06. Now the question if an LEO asked if you are carrying and you were in a place not supposed to carry, you did not answer or lied, can he search you with no warrant? Also assume you comitted no other offense. Same as the what could have happend here, asked are you carrying, you ignore the question and you go to your car and drive or disarm.
