I believe they are trying to comply with the TABC rules. If I recall correctly, they have to post something like the unlicensed possession sign, but the actual wording is not specified in the law (unlike 30.06). I've seen something similar in my DFW area Target. Unfortunately, I don't think they are trying to be pro-CHL, just complying with TABC regs. I believe this location does sell wine, but oddly have not noticed the TABC "unlicensed posession of a weapon" sign in there. The sign I saw was definitely NOT the TABC sign.
