The problem I have with this is the potential for abuse. The presence of a legally prescribed drugs in your system is not an offense. Driving impaired is an offense. You can have detectable amounts of some drugs, legally prescribed and used, long after there is any impairment, days and even weeks after using.Jumping Frog wrote:Real-time, roadside drug testing is quite a technology advance. BTW, this is really going to upset the whole "medical" marijuana crowd. I wonder how long they will still test positive? I know from employer drug testing that it takes a couple weeks to clear the system.
