Re: Straw purchase and private sales
Sell to a CHL holder and record their CHL number on your copy of the bill of sale. That should eliminate any question of whether they can legally own a firearm or not. I know a lot of CHL holders and not a one of them would agree to those terms. You want to see my CHL/DL, fine. But you're not getti...

Didn't know that. Anyway, this thread is getting a little short for me (testy). I disagree that it wouldn't be useful to have the additional info but the site owners and moderators (those doing the work) can make the call on what is included on their site!

Re: Gas stations on Texas3006.com
The 'Unlicensed Possession' sign does not mean it is ok to carry there Agree. But if you knew that was the only sign, it isn't "OK" by virtue of the sign, but it isn't prohibited as the only sign doesn't invoke a prohibition. Something that is irrelevant to our CHL can neither grant nor d...

Re: Gas stations on Texas3006.com
You can disagree but your thought process is in direct conflict with logic. By listing every place that is not posted the site becomes much more cumbersome and thus much less user friendly and thus much less utilized than it would be by simply listing places that are posted. It would be about as lo...

Re: And so it begins
I hope they don't encounter a situation like the Bank of America shootout in N. Hollywood. I hope they don't either. Don't take my comments to mean that I wouldn't want law enforcement to be armed with AR15s, I do think they need them. My reluctance was directed at the Boston PD based on their abus...

Re: New Years Eve - Free Drug Test in Los Angleles
Real-time, roadside drug testing is quite a technology advance. I don't want drivers using cocaine, marijuana, amphetamines, designer amphetamines, opiates, or benzodiazepines any more than I want them driving drunk. BTW, this is really going to upset the whole "medical" marijuana crowd. ...

Re: And so it begins
Based on the unconstitutional tactics used in house to house searches after the marathon bombing, if I lived there I wouldn't want them to have the AR15s. I have no respect for any officer who participated in that or believe it is OK. A JBT tactic pure and simple. I don't have the same view for Texa...

Re: Gas stations on Texas3006.com
I would find it counter productive to list places where it's ok to carry as that list would be almost impossible to complete. The very name of the website suggest listing places that are off limits due to 30.06 sign posting. ETA: listing a place on such a site as being ok to carry because of the ab...

Re: Gas stations on Texas3006.com
Welcome to the forum. That sign does not restrict a CHL holder from entering the station. If you have a CHL you are licensed. This sign is about unlicensed carry. Why would you want to put it on texas3006.com? Because if there is no listing, you don't know if there is a valid 30.06 sign or not. Lis...
