Couple of things........
1) Steve is right (no surprize
) concerning IDPA rules and starting the stage with your hammer down and the safety off.2) HIGHLY doubt that there is a mechanical issue with the gun.
3) Simple test..... Place the gun in you weak hand and shoot several magazines through the gun. If the problem does not occur, then it is not mechanical and more than likely your grip.
