Re: News story from Lake Charles, LA
It wasn't about Concealed Carry the last to link you posted is what I was talking about. Being able to have a gun in your car in the school zone was protected.Keith B wrote:IIRC, the Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit does not give you a waiver to carry inside a Gun Free School Zone like Texas does. See http://www.lsp.org/handguns.html#prohibited" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. How is the information he gave incorrect? Please clarify.
EDITED TO ADD: Also see http://www.legis.state.la.us/lss/lss.asp?doc=78745" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and http://www.legis.state.la.us/lss/lss.asp?doc=78741" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

News story from Lake Charles, LA
There was a story in the American Press Newspaper from Lake Charles,LA yesterday on guns the school zones. The Asst. DA in Lake Charles gave out bad info on teachers carrying their guns in their cars on school property. So if you go to the Lake Charles area be aware that the DA doesn't know the gun laws.
