The left will probably get another mass killing when they need it to spur momentum again.chasfm11 wrote: ↑Sun Sep 08, 2019 1:41 pmA part of me thinks that if they can make OC carry in all of these stores, the pressure behind this push to ban OC will try CC, too. We know that the gun grabbers and the people behind them are into incrementalism. They just keep chipping away at every opportunity.Oldgringo wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2019 12:54 pmWhy poke the bear? Do you want 'em to put up signs that keep ALL of us from carrying?crazy2medic wrote: ↑Sat Sep 07, 2019 5:18 am The wife wants to grab a few things at wally world when I get off work today, I'll let ya'll know if they throw me out for open carrying!
That said, there is a fever pitch created by all of this and doing anything at all to keep it going or general an additional level of angst on the part of the public right now will likely be counterproductive. I always pray that we don't have any more mass shootings but we especially don't need another one right now. I don't think that the public attention span is all that long and if we can get a few weeks or even a couple of months with gun news in the news cycle, we can think about going back to broader OC. Until then, we have our collective guns pointed at our feet. Just my $.02 worth.

"We can no longer be complicit in an industry that kills over 3,000 people a day," said a spokesperson for Walmart. "Every time we sell a muffler, steering wheel cover, or flame decal, we are potentially causing the death of a person, and we cannot support that any longer."
"It's clear that bad drivers and poor road conditions don't cause vehicular deaths---cars do."

And there will be greater stocks at the online retailers and local gun shops without ChinaMart having inventory. Perhaps they can close their entire "sporting goods" section and expand the man buns and skinny jeans areas.NotRPB wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2019 8:29 am Academy, Bass Pro, Cabelas and small "Mom and pop" owned gun stores everywhere as well as the hardware store in my small town that sells ammo ... thank The Chinese Factory Outlet for reducing their competition for sales.
The Chinese Factory Outlet won't sell at all... my Pastor's daughter's deer hunting round for her pink AR and mini-14, nor my hunting round for the mini-30 (basically a 30 cal) 7.62x39

Re: Walmart has fallen!
Walmart has been a pain to shop in for years. Now that they are pushing the online ordering with parking lot pickups it’s even worse. Aisles blocked by employees s dragging their carts filling orders.
It’s like Walmart doesn’t want anyone actually coming in the stores, which might be a feature instead of a bug!
Seems like more and more companies are turning into Dick’s
