Hard to believe that this isn't from the Babylon Bee. Even worse, the bill was introduced by a Republican. How does this "Republican" interpret the First Amendment to allow the government to require that any citizen writing a blog register with said government.Florida Sen. Jason Brodeur (R-Lake Mary) wants bloggers who write about Gov. Ron DeSantis, Attorney General Ashley Moody, and other members of the Florida executive cabinet or legislature to register with the state or face fines.
If this passes and DeSantis signs it, he may as well stay out of the Presidential race because he has zero respect for the First Amendment.
