It seams like they over step their powers on a daily basis with no reproccustions!
The problem with the "Mental Health" system is they literally do Not need a shread of evidence to lock you up for a 72 hour hold. In this guy's case he was angry and said the wrong things, guilty of this myself in the past luckily I grew out of that behavior.
As far as the 72 hour "evaluation" goes you need to have a attorney on your side and also have family members to be there visiting (everyday) to show the Legal system you have Backup. They also MUST be there at your court hearing where they can be a character witness!! You are allowed a Cell Phone without a camera, get this immediately so you can keep in touch with family ect. Do not use their phone and if you do don't say anything incriminating and infom the person you speak to its all being recorded.
Main thing is to NOT talk to anyone while there because the way it's setup, they have inside Narcs. Don't NOT sign anything while your there also deny all medications. TRY to keep calm while doing this or they will forcibly medicate you by injection while three basically prison guards hold you down. They also make it look and feel like a prison for intimidation purposes, even to the point of having "Fake Prison Gangs" Example: If you were to play a card game with anyone, they have the Joker card saying your "Life is in Danger, Play this card to Live" Don't fall for these Tricks they try!!
They go as far as having [Carnival fun house mirrors] in certain locations of the facility. Even the showers are setup where the first couple have Cold water only. It's more of mental torture instead of mental help!
Mental Health system is a total Joke, its setup to keep people that do not need help at all in some cases. Your probably wondering Why? It all boils down to $$$, everyone is in on it also from the Judge at the location down!! Aka: Job Security.
So the moral of this is to try to be respectful and never say anything aggressive or even something out of context to anyone, especially a Dr. They have been know just out of Spite to lock you up for disrespecting them.
This military man should have been givin some leeway, I mean he fought for his country and they treat him like this. It makes me sick to see any of our military personnel treated with any form of disrespect. .
