Special purpose weapons

If you are going to carry this weapon I also would recomend the Taurus as most of the above. If you can afford it the Ruger is a better choice for accuracy & feel. If it is going to be a special purpose arm that is not going to see much powder residue then the Rossi is as good a choice as the T. I have a Charter arms .38 sp. w/ a 4 inch barrel that was what was available when I bought it for a "special purpose." It is left on the shelf in closet where the wife would go in case of a home invasion if I am not at home. When I bought it the 3 that were considered due to price & purpose were Rossi, Taurus, & Charter. All will do well for an arm that is not used much & is not required to be fun, accurate at 25 to 30 yds, & going to see 10K rounds. Decide your use & match the gun to the need.
