I will give this example to show how difficult the test is. Last month there was a widow lady at the instructor class that I use & had not shot any gun since she was 12. Probably close to 50 yrs. She took some instruction at the class & went to the line w/ someone to load a borrowed gun for her & she passed. Someone else loaded for her so I dont know her score.
Last week I was there again & 2 ladies besides the one I had instructed. One never shot a hand gun & would qualify w/ a borrowed one. The other had shot her gun only once. Both took some instruction before going to the line. I loaded for one & the instructor loaded for the other. As we left the 7yd line going to the 15, I told the lady I was loading for, "I can look at your target & you are qualified rigth now. Relax & have some fun." She grinned & said OK, thanks.
As we turned around at the 15yd line I heard the instructor tell his lady that she was qualified already too.
The lady I instructed carries a revolver but borrows my wife's Baretta Storm so she can carry what she wants. She shot 243 out of 250 w/ a borrowed gun.
