Welcome jclif, my, when you post an intro you sure do a good job. Feel like we've known you all your life now. Great to see those kids on the range. That is a good age to start them. I have a Granddaughter 13 & Grandson 10. They both shoot when here. Another GD 8 that is doing great w/ her BB gun. The 6 yr old GS has not yet wanted to make any noise. Good carry rig for each of your setups. My son has the XD 40 & really loves it. I have shot it & think it is a good choice too. Hate the job situation but glad we know.
