Thanks for resurrecting this one. I loaded my hunting ammo today & shot 6 through "Badger", the M1A.

I just hope I get a chance to go this yr.

I have seen a few of the Mosens at the range & thought they would make some excellent open site hunting rifles.

Hunting w/ military rifles
Anyone else hunt regular w/ your military rifle? Picture & comments.
I hunt w/ my SA M1A. Keep the battle sites on it. Am completely comfortable w/ it out to 175 yds. Would take the right shot at 200.
The battle sites definately cut down the hunting hours but I dont mind watching w/o having to shoot.
