Return to “2019 New LTC Processing Timeline...”
BigNee43 wrote: ↑Thu Apr 11, 2019 4:28 pm I finally went to print pending status this morning. I contacted the state representative and his director was useless and made no effort to help me. I ended up contacting DPS and asking for information to file a complaint. Lo and behold, less than 2 days later my status changes.
Oh damn, that sucks bro. Maybe it'll go quickly now that they have that paperwork for you. Like I said, I've gone this far. Might as well ride it out.BigNee43 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2019 1:10 pmMashirley35,Mashirley35 wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2019 8:01 am Being 52 days now, would it make a difference if I sent my disposition papers in now? Even tho they haven't requested any more info? And who would I even fax it to?
Don't send anything. I just got off the phone with a DPS rep. I sent in my LTC100 documentation on 1-26-19. I received the confirmation email on 1-28-19. When I contacted them on 2-6-19, they told me that the began processing my application on 2-5-19. I sent them my disposition paperwork on 2-12-19 thinking it would speed up the process. Ha! The rep that I just spoke with said that it started my processing timeline over on 2-14-19.
Yeah, that's kinda where I stand. I've gone this far. Might as well wait the 7 more days.dcpendarvis wrote: ↑Fri Mar 29, 2019 8:29 am MaShirley - it’s a tough call. By the time you get the info, send it in, and it gets routed to the right person, you are probably saving a day or two at best. On the other hand you achieve some certainty that they aren’t waiting for more info.
The risk is that sending them info could trigger additional wait for them to review as well.
I would personally wait until after day 60 and if not resolved submit then. But, it’s a tossup.
I will call them after my 60 dayRDT806 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 10:02 pmThat's what frustrates me. They straight up lie about that. They have 45 days for a renewal and 60 for a new application. The 180 days is only applicable if further documentation is requested after you submit your application. I'd call your state representative. I will after 45 days.Mashirley35 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 27, 2019 6:23 pm So my math was a little off. I called DPS and they said they began processing my application on Feb 6th which is now 50 days including weekends. I asked if there was anything else needed concerning my disposition, and she said no. There is nothing on file saying they have requested anything else either and that it is still just processing. Also, she noted that they have 60-180 days to process the app. I don't understand what it says when it reads they have "up to 60 days".... I told her that and she said again, they have 60-180. So until then, we....still....wait.
