Good for you. I'm glad you're so excited about your XD's success, but that's just the tip of the iceberg. Keep an XD clean and maintained, and she'll pay you back. I'm at 2,300 rds., and, more importantly, zero FTFs.

I have practiced similar acts. I keep my GO bag and ammo box right next to each other in the closet with spare close and shoes on top. I also keep my both my pistols (and their holsters) in my bedside table. I don't know if I can kick that whole fiasco off in less than three minutes, but it's pretty darn close.

+1 - This is good advice.

Ah. That is a common complaint. I've heard it measured anywhere from 18 to 25 lbs. I simply practiced with it until I could place a DA shot fairly accurately. It's subjective to the shooter, and some people simply don't have the hand strength to pull it off. About half the people I take shooting can't pull the DA trigger while aiming. I don't have a technical recommendation, but you may be able to acclimate yourself to it with practice. You might be able to take a little off by having a gunsmith do so polishing or changing out springs until you get something a little lighter that still works reliably, but the cost of the work may exceed the value of the gun.
Switch to PMs, fellas. This is a picture thread.

I wish I could claim she was custom, but alas, she's a Benchmade. Best knife I've ever owned.
