This has solved my problem with many tailgaters and they just pass me and tailgate someone else.
I like this strategy. The key is "gradually" slowing down. I'm afraid I use the brief tap of the brakes. I can see how that is more likely to aggravate someone who is not very mature...like me
. And you can apply that statement to me either way.
