Good point. I'm sorry I forgot about that.

Also, 30.06 applies only to handguns, not long guns.
There's another twist to consider. HB 1815 clarified that it is legal for (most) Texans to have a concealed handgun in their car without a CHL. A 30.06 sign applies to "a person licensed under Subchapter H, Chapter 411, Government Code" only.
