Re: renewal
Same thing happened to me. I had to take the full class and pay the original (not renewal) fee but I got the same license number.

Re: packing in class
I think the one main reason they don't want any packing is they don't want any confusion as to what gun is loaded and what gun is not loaded. If someone pulled out a loaded gun to show someone something and then got interrupted and set that gun down and someone else picked up the live gun. They jus...

Thats cute what you did there. However, I cant figure out how my dealings with another member affected you. I guess that goes to show you, like my grandpa used to say, opinions are like.... dang! I cant remember how that goes right now. Opinions are like onions. . They stink? Yes. No. . Oh, they ma...

Logic suggests they hand you the card or other document. Hiding it in a drawer is not notice, imho.

Yes. The FBI shhotout that lead (eventually) to the .40 S&W. Among many other lessons, it is an example of handguns loose in vehicles. Along with the Newhall Incident, it's a classic officer survival case study.

I don't know anything about your home's construction but I grew up in a house with tile floors in the second story bathrooms. No real problems except for the occasional cracked tile from us kids dropping things.

Re: "Possession of Unauthorized Firearms"
You seem to be changing the "or" in § 30.06(a)(2)(A) to an "and". You can be prosecuted whether or not you refuse to leave. Simply receiving notice that the handgun was forbidden is enough according to the statute. Yes, if the owner of the property or someone with apparent autho...

Re: FFL denied right to sell from home by HOA
We have also tried to get the HOA to enforce weeds in flowerbeds, etc. I am not that anal, but a 4ft tall horse-weed growing out of the next door neighbors flower bed that has been there with the other 2ft+ tall weed for over a year is ridiculous. Finally had to call the city on them to get it reso...
