It's not just in Houston. There are more uptight and confrontational folks out there than I like to think about. I try my best to operate on the "give them a break" philosophy, allowing folks to merge in, go first if we've hit a four way at the same time, etc... hoping that one good turn may incite another (good turn). but something just gets me to boiling when someone messes with me like that .
its sooo easy to loose your cool in those situations .
i think you did the right thing by trying to avoid further conflict .
its really not worth risking life or legal troubles over some knuckle head.
