Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
My main carry weapons have changed once more! I traded up a few times and have graduated to my new beauties. A Colt King Cobra .357 revolver, and a Smith & Wesson M29, both in leather OWB holsters with speed loaders. The .44 conceals surprisingly well, and I carry my own hand-loaded hollowpoints...

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
So my daily carry has changed since I last posted here. Gone is the cheap Rossi 972. I currently carry two guns and rotate them as I desire. One is a Ruger Police Service Six, 35 years old and immaculate, I carry it fairly often. The second is a newer purchase, an American Tactical 1911. I plan to g...

Re: Interesting Non Car Buying Experience
My newest car is an 84 El Camino, I have opted out of the lovely game of bad car dealer jokes and endless haggling.

Re: "Wally Walk"
Got my plastic two days ago and took my first Wally Walk yesterday, whilst open carrying as well (my gun is large and I’m still trying to find my ideal carry). Aside from one lady near the entrance who began giggling and chattering enthusiastically when she saw me, nobody payed me any attention. Tha...

Re: Self driving vehicles creep me out. How will feds mandate purchases?
I currently drive a 1952 Chevrolet, and own 5 other antique vehicles. I have no intention of ever buying a new car. I don’t care if the technology is perfected, I enjoy driving and have no intention of giving it up. 9F10804C-6E24-4D5F-AF7C-C8A99417B3B8.jpeg Beautiful! Thanks, it was my first car! :...

Re: 51 days and counting
I gave them a call, which was not very helpful. The lady just said that the 60 day period isn’t up yet basically. At this point I just have to chalk it up to them having a lot of chl’s to process, I suppose. By the way, is it normal for the checklist to show out of state items received if you’ve nev...

Re: 51 days and counting
It sounds like you do have something on your record. I’d def email or call them just to ask if there’s anything incomplete or missing. It would certainly be news to me  I’ve never been arrested, diagnosed with mental illness, or any such thing. Most trouble I’ve had is two occasions where I ...

Re: Which gun is it for you?
My favorite gun is one I don’t even own...yet.
Someday I will have my very own Smith and Wesson model 29, I’ve had the pleasure of shooting one before and was head over heels.

Re: Pictures Of Your Daily Carry
A 6 inch Rossi 972 .357 with a leather belt holster. Still experimenting with where on my belt I keep it, though I’ve found a spot that keeps it from printing fairly well.

51 days and counting
Got the confirmation saying all documents were received on Dec 5th, background check under review about 2 days after, no notification requesting more documents afterward. Playing the long game now it would seem, the eternal background check, and with not so much as a speeding ticket on my record. :t...
