Duty bound or wise? If you are carrying under MPA and will be reaching for anything, proof of insurance for example that puts you close to it, let the cop know. It had occurred to me that when stopped or ID is demanded and you are carrying, you are required by law to present both but I have not seen any kind of similar requirements for MPA. It was really starting to wear on me when the law changed removing the penalty portion of the ID law. So, okay.

Anytime you are interacting with an LEO the tone of the encounter will be largely set by your attitude. Disclosing your armed MAY make the encounter a lot less contentious whether or not there is a duty issue at hand.
