I was there on Thursday and all I saw was a no handguns, knives, purses, backpacks, etc. type sign. I did not see a 30.06 but they have people at the entrances doing bag checks and so forth. I was not actively looking for a 30.06 though.

I have been waiting about as long for a pin, recv 12mar08, nothing yet. I called and they said they have recv app, but have done nothing more. Could not even tell me if my application was complete.. Crazy...

When my wife was pregnant the doctor advised against it... definitely not worth the risk. Congrats btw! Kids rock!

I carry a camelbak that has a pocket on the backside, I keep it with me while I work out and run with it, etc. This works well, I kinda get nervous when lifting weights but I haven't had any issues to date, just have to keep your eyes open.

Every time I've been pulled over (even under 18) -- they have asked if I had any weapons in the vehicle or on my person. Never had one so it was always a no. Never been disarmed either ;) I'd feel kinda strange if it was locked away and they wanted to see it. Who knows why some cops do these things ...
