THe only bone headed CHL'r I have seen was in a Wal Mart parking lot. Apparently these two knot heads had just got the plastic in and were getting ready for the maiden Wally World Walk. They had parked next to each other and obviously knew one another. I pull up in the space to the right of the second pick up and both idiots are near the rear standing between truck 1 and truck 2. I can hear the conversation as I parked and got out of my car. "Yeah I just got my card in,, look at what I carry,,. Stupid #2... I got mine in too, I got my kel tec in my pocket see!!!!!.
I walked up to both maitaining a safe distance. (xcop, x swat, not my first parade), and informed the two the whole theory behind CHL was concealed. I told them it would proably be in thier best interest to holster the weapons as it was not a great idea to be flashing iron right under the surveillance camera.
I dont think I was the only one that noticed. As I walked out of Wally World a DPS unit and MCSO were arriving.... I wish I knew the rest of the story. Might have been the short length of time between issuance and suspension in history.
