Thanks for the suggestion. I should have clarified though... it's not really too tight on my gun. It's just so rigid it doesn't want to curve around the contour of my waist. I've started leaving a belt in it, overtight, overnight to see if that will soften it up.

Our church had a board meeting tonight and our last order of business was church security. Right now we have 3 confirmed CC persons and maybe more. We are a small congregation and still meeting in a hotel conference room. We are in the process of securing our first property. As such we have already begun the process of looking into all of our options. I have already confirmed a seat at the Prestonwood Baptist Church Security seminar on Dec. 5th.

While were on the subject of guns and churches.. Is there any other congregation out there in the North Texas area that have any sort of shooting group. We are a Lutheran Church in Frisco and we have a small group that competes with one another and also working on a competition shoot with another Lutheran church. We welcome all, so if your interested let me know.. We would love to share the fellowship and sport with you all.

I guess I'm lucky.. My Pastor and I took our LTC class together last week. This Sunday after Church, our Pastor, our head Elder, myself and a few other members of our congregation had a match shoot at our local outdoor range. We have a scheduled competition with one of the local churches in our area as well.

One of our members is a certified range safety officer and tactical instructor as well. We did almost an hour of holster draw and fire training (using snap caps) before our shoot.

Needless to say we don't have much of a church bowling club

BTW, New member here and first post. Learned more here than I did in my LTC class last week. Instructor was too busy pushing LTC insurance.
