I am not aware of anything like that in the law. Either you can carry on the premises or you can't. Pretty sure that instructor didn't know what he was talking about.
I just looked up half-a-dozen Chili's Bar and Grills in Seguin, New Braunfels, Austin, and San Marcos on the TABC website. None had a red 51% sign required.
Again, It is defiantly possible I misunderstood that part.. But @mloamiller's post was pretty good in that regard re. movie theater.... Which really I think is the crux here... Not always does a 51% necessarily mean the entire premise..

I am not aware of anything like that in the law. Either you can carry on the premises or you can't. Pretty sure that instructor didn't know what he was talking about.
I agree.. It seemed odd to me as well and it's possible that I just misunderstood him...
