Re: Deferred Prosecution Question
Update: Everything good to go. Print pending. The official answer is deferred prosecution means absolutely nothing in terms of a criminal record :)
Edit: They didn't even ask for paperwork for this case, only my adult cases.

Question about carrying in the car
My permit is on the way but while I'm waiting, is it ok to carry a gun on one's person if inside a car they own? I know I can carry out of plain sight in the car but does "out of plain site" include concealed on my person? Can I do this or should I just wait for the permit. This always str...

Re: Deferred Prosecution Question
Well I'm going to be shooting my new revolver instead of a semi-auto. I hope they let me shoot single action the entire time ;)Liberty wrote:Good luck, I hope you enjoy your class as much as I did!

Re: 2017 Wait time
When I filled out the application online and listed my laughable tiny criminal history, I didn't notice ANYWHERE that it asked for official copies of dispositions. Did something change or do people around this forum just mail those in to speed up the process? I'd send them in the mail if I knew exac...

Re: Deferred Prosecution Question
They didn't ask for them at any point during the application process. I should note I filled it out online. Definitely didn't see anywhere during the process that I needed to mail copies. Also wasn't in my email checklist. I'm assuming this is just to speed the process up? I guess I could mail copie...

Re: How do you train at the range?
Mostly just shoot the AR at 50-100 yards. I have a Ruger LCP but I'm still waiting for my CHL. Once I get the license and I start carrying it, I will be shooting it much more often. Every now and then, I change the zero on my AR because I can't decide which is best for the widest array of shooting s...

Ruger LCP Loaded Carry
Are there any design flaws with this weapon that I need to know about that would make it dangerous to carry with a round in the chamber? Personally, I'd prefer a semi-automatic with a decocker that is hammer fired just so I have the sense of security but I'm currently stuck with this gun until I get...
