Re: PTSD and obtaining a LTC
Ok, my last post was deleted because I didn't follow forum rules so I apologize for the harsh words I used to describe another member here. To the OP, please advise your friend to disregard the completely incorrect and totally false information posted regarding the application process. No where on t...

Re: FFL Transfer
When buying guns on the internet and having them transferred to a local dealer was still a relatively new thing, a lot of dealers would handle the transfer but usually were less than thrilled about it. They might grumble about not buying a gun in their shop as you were filling out the paperwork, but...

Re: Size VS Capacity
I had always been a .45 only kinda guy, but with the advances made in 9mm ballistics these days I have gradually shifted more towards high capacity 135gr or 147gr 9mm HP's. My favorite gun to shoot is and always will be the 5" 1911 in .45 :) Ironically, my least favorite gun but the gun I would...

Re: Light & Laser For A Glock 19 Suggestions?
I would highly recommend the Streamlight TLR series laser/light combos if you're wanting both light and laser. Lots of choices depending on what color laser and lumens desired in the light. They come with adapters so you can use them on about any railed gun. Regardless of brand, I would just plan on...

Re: CC in sweats/jogger shorts
Probably not suitable for jogging (but might work fine), but go walking around my subdivision a lot or quick trips to Walmart or gas station etc wearing gym shorts or sweats that have drawstrings and/or elastic waistbands carrying compacts/subcompacts in either a "Sticky Holster" IWB or th...

Re: PTSD and obtaining a LTC
Are you taking my "word for it" as a medical professional? I didn't stay in a holiday inn. :biggrinjester: I was more referring to the stigma of both. Hey we found a Dr to sign those letters for us...Thanks Dr TreyHouston! Do you have a prescription pad too by chance? :) Right, no doubt a...

Re: PTSD and obtaining a LTC
Ok, I get now that you meant telling the doctor "the letter" is needed for work and not "the LTC", but that wouldn't change anything on my opinion about that. It's still an effort to deceive and to be honest, anybody that needed such a letter as that probably shouldn't have a LTC...

Re: Pistol sights
If you had good consistent group's low and left that's good news as in whatever the cause (mechanical - the gun, or mechanics - the shooter), it can be corrected. A few questions...do you shoot all handguns with the same result? Have you let anyone else shoot your gun? If that's your only gun, eithe...

Re: PTSD and obtaining a LTC
No disrespect intended here to anyone, but in my opinion there is some advice being given here, unless something WRITTEN into law specifically addressing a diagnosis of PTSD being a disqualifier for receiving a license to carry, that is questionable. First off, where did the information come from th...

Re: Joining the CZ Club
Hey Charles, thank you sir! Appreciate that. About the Phantom, I can't say anything bad about it at all. It's got a really nice trigger setup, original owner had replaced all the internals with CGW parts, and shoots great. But since I have the P-07 and P-09 polymer guns and shoot them so well, just...

Re: Joining the CZ Club
IMG_6335.JPG Hey guys, over the past 6 months I went from never even shot a CZ to now owning 5 with another on the way. Truly fantastic guns! Have the P-07, P-09, CZ 75D Compac, SP-01 Phantom (just got but will probably sell?), P-10C ordered, and my newest and best the CZ 75 Shadow 2 (WOW!) I though...
