And concerning mail in voting, Y'all will have to excuse me if I just flat out don't trust mail in voting. Way to many stories of ballots being thrown out or found in garbage cans and they always seem to be Republican ballots. I figure if I can go to the store or restaurant I can go vote in person to make sure my vote counts.

I don't trust the mail either, I'm going to drop my ballot at the county clerk's office.

Early mail in vote

Since I'm over 65 I qualify to mail in vote, with covid-19 the line's will be long. I'm ready to early vote but concerned about my vote for Trump, suppose he gets really sick and doesn't run for another term. What would happen with my vote? Would the person taking his spot get my vote? I plan on calling vote.gov tomorrow but thought I'd throw this out there. When I get an answer I'll report back.
