Makes it really nice and quiet with some umph behind the bullet.
If you want to have some fun, you can also consider .458 SOCOM or 50 Beuwolf. They are great heavy hitters that make a satisfying bang every time you pull the trigger. Your shoulder might not be so happy, though, since muzzle brakes don't do all that much to quell the recoil. The .458 and the 6.8 SPC were my first two AR15s. I don't regret the .458. I wished I went with the 6.5 Grendel instead of SPC, though.
