Re: George Soros’s Son Dumps $100,000 Into California Ammo Control Efforts
There is a story circulating in the Phoenix area that George Soros has contributed $300K to efforts to defeat Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Not clear if money went to a PAC or directly to Sheriff Joe's opponent.

We just got back from the Reagan Library--the docent who led our tour group said that facility was 100% private funded.

Re: Good CCW Shirts?
Pricey, but well made, are the Sonoran Shirts from The Wilderness (http://www.thewilderness.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). Neat pocket arrangement, well-made (yes, I said that before, but they are), good fit, and interesting designs. No, I don't have any financial int...

Be sure you check out reciprocity (heard recently that Nevada does not recognize Arizona CCW).

Re: 5 most dangerous guns in America by Rolling Stone Magazi
I have seen the light, thanks to the first-rate reporting from Rolling Stone. I am going to purge my safe of all pistols with built-in barrels and short stocks. I urge all responsible readers of this forum to do the same.

Re: Get your Chairborn Ranger patch
I remember this from Fort Leonard Wood, MO, in late 1970:
I wanna be a chairborne ranger
I don't want a life of danger
I don't want to go to Vietnam
I don't want to meet no Charlie Cong
Sorry, don't remember the rest but I am pretty sure it was silly.

He quit so he could spend more time lying to his family--think Mike Huckabee is the original source for that one.

Re: Rob Pincus - NRA BOD Write In Candidate
My wife and I have been voting members for a number of years and we appreciate the hard work of the NRA BOD Nominating Committee. There (almost) always seems to be more good candidates than available vacancies on the BOD. Let Pincus go through the usual process to get on the ballot and let the votin...

Re: Sheila Jackson Lee: "I'm a Freed Slave"
Isn't she one of the co-sponsors of HR 55 to "Honor the life of Trayvon Martin"?
Answered my own question, yep, she's one of the co-sponsors. Link here: http://www.govtrack.us/congress/bills/113/hres55" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Quite a read.

Re: XDs Range Report
Thanks to all you actual users for the info. Actually got to look extensively at an XDS and an XDM 3.8 in the Glendale, AZ, Cabela's last week. Tough choice between the two.
