Funny story about the term. We were in Branson, MO and getting ready to take a train ride down through the Ozarks. They were checking bags and the conductor was cutting up and asked my Mother-In-Law 'You don't have a hog leg in that big purse of your's do you?' Dead serious, she says 'No, but I might have some peanut butter crackers if you are hungry. Why would I have a hog leg in my purse?'
Everyone just busted out laughing. We had to explain to her what the term was in reference to.
