Here's another story on it. Women were going house to house, banging on doors and throwing rocks. In the video story it doesn't look to me like the car was riddled with gun shots, but covered in fingerprint power. Sounds like the guy shot them when they came in the house if they were hit in their torsos.

Gonna need some more facts.Excaliber wrote:The article states that one suspect was found inside the house, and the other managed to run outside.philip964 wrote:http://www.khou.com/story/news/crime/20 ... /18123341/
Hope he didn't fire once he was outside. It was in the middle of the day.
That sounds like both were inside when the shots were fired, but early news articles are notoriously short on both facts and accuracy.

Nighttime only applies to protection of property for theft or criminal mischief. These women had committed burglary of a habitation.philip964 wrote:http://www.khou.com/story/news/crime/20 ... /18123341/

If he believed the women had taken something, then he could potentially have justification for protection of property to keep them from escaping with it. However, if they hadn't stolen anything he will have to prove that he was still in fear for his life or other bodily injury if he fired as they were escaping.
