Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I believe it's the same way we do for CHL on the B-27 target. Duty rounds should be what the person woudl be carrying (hollow-point, +P, etc.)
Purpose:
To provide the firearms proficiency certification of retired officers for a Retired Federal or Out-of-State Officer Firearms Certificate card issued by The State of Texas.

Course of Fire:
Consists of the standard Texas CHL qualification with required modfication. Officer will fire at an official B-27 target using standard combat scoring method.
20 rounds @ 3 yards
20 rounds @ 7 yards
10 rounds @ 15 yards

One string of fire at the 3 yard line will incorporate a timed reload.
Minimum of 5 duty rounds must be used.

Required Equipment
Handgun in good repair with no modifications that would make it less safe.

50 rounds of ammunition (5 rounds must be duty type you intend to carry)

Two magazines for semiautomatics. Revolver shooters may use a speedloader.

Hearing & eye protection.
