As for the computer in class, as already said there is not a lot of room. I would just take notes in your notebook. You really need to focus on the Instructor and the things they are showing you on the screen. It is not a hard topic, and many of the things you should have already learned in your CHL class. Just listen and interact and you should have no problem at all with the classroom portion.

Piece of cake (well, 100 pieces of cake. LOL) You will do fine. If you listened in class, then you will have no problem at all.

Glad you are having a good time. I really enjoyed my class, the information I received and the camaraderie with the other students. Was a fun week for me!!

I don't think there was anyone in my group of about 45 that didn't pass the first time except for one that had a firearm come apart (cylinder release button 'fell out' of his S&W .) Unless that happens to you, I don't think you will have any trouble with the shooting.

It is a very informative and enjoyable time. They will teach you the statutes and give you 'real world' views of how things may potentially be interpreted. Lots of good info and a great network to talk to other CHL Instructor candidates, share views, ideas and opinions.

And of course, the best time is Friday on the really nice DPS range. I have started a change jar to get my funding going to build one like it someday.
