I suspect they escaped from the cafeteria and ran around by themselves that night causing havoc ... it's why I stay in after dark. I don't "feel safe" not being able to see invisible things in the dark. I'm glad I moved out of my parents house where the "closet monster" lived ... but only after the light was off.
