I think you will find VERY few that would ever write a ticket for anything less than 5 over. However, I did write one for 29 in a 25 once; it went from going to issue a verbal warning to a written warning to a ticket within the utterance of about 15 words from the driver. Wouldn't have stopped him originally, but it was close to a school and a lot of kids walking along the side of the road after school and he was not paying attention at all to his driving. Could have written it for careless and imprudent, but the speeding was cheaper and no points, so actually did him a favor.Fangs wrote:I'd personally be a fan of them being allowed to pull you over for speeding, but not being able to write a ticket within 10 mph over the limit or so.
