I doubt this it the case as this gun is a single action where you have to manually the hammer back to shoot it and the mechanism is very simple. I am still betting he had the hammer cocked and slid into his coat pocket. When the gun fell, the trigger hit the floor or something on the way to the floor since there is no trigger guard and the gun fired.TexasGal wrote:What about he possibility he had altered the trigger pull to a custom pressure and it brushed up against something on the way to the floor? Not surprising if it was. These are single action and no trigger guard. If the guy carried it cocked then it is an accident waiting to happen.
