The whole point of conflict resolution is there as a means to not allow yourself and the other(s) involved to escalate a situation. Road rage, the thread on shooting someone on your lawn, etc. are examples of this. As CHL holders, we cannot allow ourselves to get caught up in 'pushing buttons' on someone else, then when they are at the point to fight, use our CCW to resolve the conflict. How to deescalate and resolve the small issues before they turn large is important to teach in class. Some folks naturally have this ability, but many do not and need to learn how to do it.
