IANAL, but I would should show whichever permit you are using to carry on. If you have multiples and your Texas is lost or stolen, then I would use another state's if it is a valid CHL for carrying in Texas. The possession of a Utah, Florida or other non-resident does not relieve you of the requirement to present a CHL to Texas law enforcement if you are asked for your ID. You have to follow the laws of the state you are in.
