OK, SB535 passed and was effective 9/1/07 and prohibited the LCRA from preventing CHL's from carrying, so on their land, you are OK.
Municipalities, county and state owned parks cannot be posted either, so you are OK per those guidelines with a CHL.
BTW, IANAL, but am pretty sure I am correct on these.

Lake Travis is a Lower Colorado River Authority controlled lake, so the lake could be posted, but I believe the park and land is maintained by Travis County, so they can't post the park itself. However, I doubt the lake is posted. Hopefully someone else will wander by that knows more.newbie4help wrote:So I now know this can be done in a municipality, like the Greenbelt.
