As long as your employer doesn't restrict you from having a weapon in the truck (and your family is the employer) then any rules pertaining to firearms go as long with the commercial vehicle IIRC. So, if have a CHL that the other state recognizes, then you can carry across state lines to that state. Just note that you must obey THAT states laws on concealed carry when in their state. Weight stations should not be a problem unless you are asked for your ID. If in Texas, then you must produce the CHL for them as they are law enforcement personnel.tekboi wrote:In the summer time I drive a truck for my family, and I drive across state lines.
