The big problem with teens is they can have depression issues and folks not realize it. During the teen years they can also have wild hormonal swings which affects their mood drastically. It is not uncommon for a teen to not talk to their parents, and the parents kind of leave them to themselves. Unfortunately that causes parents to miss signs that might lead them to recognize there is a serious issue and get it addressed. Also, many teens are very immature and don't really think through things. What really may be a small issue to many seems like a giant one to them and think it is just easier to end it than to try and fix the problem or ask for help.seamusTX wrote: This stuff never makes sense. a 17-year-old boy killed himself in Texas City last week.
