Do you mean due to SB 51 parking lot law that went into effect August this year?? Unless I am mistaken, that does not allow carry in a state or federally off limits area, per section D.1, which a Gun Free School zone is part of. IIRC, the Louisiana Concealed Handgun Permit does not give you a waiver to carry inside a Gun Free School Zone like Texas does. See http://www.lsp.org/handguns.html#prohibited" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. How is the information he gave incorrect? Please clarify.
