Same gun, except the LS has a titanium cylinder vs. the stainless. Only .5 oz difference, so would probably not be noticable.drw wrote:Interesting. Carlson1 currently has a S&W 624 J Frame. Is that the same gun?

Re: Brand New Ruger LCP - DFW, TX
I would suggest lighter unless weight is not an issue. The SP101 is about 25oz as the frame is heavier and built for the .357 load. The S&W Ladysmith 642LS is a great choice. It weighs in at 14.5 ounces and a couple of ladies I know that had issues shooting the P3AT and the LCP have loved the way the 642 handles.drw wrote:We keep a Kahr P9 in the center console of our minivan, and she loves to shoot that little gun, but the spring is so tight, it's difficult for her to cycle it. Her hands just aren't as strong as most women and so cycling a semi is difficult for her.Keith B wrote:Has she ever tried a Kahr PMx? I love my PM9 and the recoil is very manageable. If not that, maybe a small revolver with .38 +P?
I have a Ruger SP101 that I've fired with .357 magnum. It kicks like a feral mule. :) Are you suggesting something like that with .38 +P?
