They were working an accident between a car and motorcycle. Luckily the rider wasn't seriously hurt. When they questioned the elderly man about what he saw coming when he looked to pull out, he responded 'All I saw coming was a motorcycle.'

When I rode (years ago), had my share of close calls with cars, and going down due to slick pavement or gravel. I decided I needed to give it up after working a very bad fatality motorcycle accident. That was in an area where there was no a lot of traffic. You couldn't pay me enough personally to ride in the DFW area with the amount of aggressive and idiotic drivers we have here. I may not have many brains, but I want to keep the little bit that I DO have!

With that said, I am not knocking motorcycles and those that ride, it is just a personal choice not to ride myself. Those riders that are conscientious and safe I admire, but you can still get caught by the crazies. I just lost a friend late last year to a crash where an elderly man pulled out in front of him and he T-boned the door post. Inertia comes into effect and the body generally looses the fight with a solid non-movable object.
