Arizona received my packet on 27 Jan and mailed 15 Feb, got it in the mail on the 22nd I think. I got my Texas LTC a week before the Arizona lol. In all fairness, I submitted my Texas LTC on 22 Nov 17 and got it on 16 Feb 2017Schwartz22 wrote:My guess is that they go to mailed status today, and arrive no later than Monday. With clean records that had to wait several weeks for background check to complete.
it may arrive by Thurs or Friday.
I just submitted a request for an Arizona packet yesterday, so I will be playing the waiting game again soon.

Re: "Waiting Room"
It all depends if you disclosed any arrests or claiming veteran status. Basically anything out of the ordinary. If they send your background check to the local PD for background check, you never know how proactive they are. It says whatever agency is doing it for RSD has up to 60 days before a respond is needed. I'm sure some PDs are over worked or just don't put a priority on some background checks. It would be interesting to see where everyone is applying from and maybe figure out which city or county sucks at doing it.

Re: "Waiting Room"
LMAO, nah bro. Not this weekend. I did my first Wally walk back in 2003. Maybe my first Texas Wally walk. I'm headed to Louisiana this weekend with some brothers. Hopefully it gets here before Saturday!!K5CLC wrote:Ahhhhhh!!!!!! Awesome deal, congrats.Easyasmc wrote:Good stuff bro. I would rather have the element of surprise with concealed carry, always have. I feel like I would have a big target on my back if I open carry. I might do it once tho haha.K5CLC wrote:Thanks! I am out running around town to different stores that arent 30.06 or 07, and taking a few pics of my first open carry. Nobody has been weird, or scared. Except one guy thought i was an officer. Lol. I said no, i just got my license. What a strange feeling though. Open carry is a heavy responsibility. I think i will prefer concealed carry going forward.Easyasmc wrote:Congrats Chris! I'm still print pending....

Re: "Waiting Room"
Well at least you got your money back!!! My status finally changed after almost 2 weeks of sending in my Mississippi supporting documents. Arizona permit still pending. All I did was send in a copy of my DD214 for the training requirement.K5CLC wrote:I was saying the same thing not too long ago until my status change to print pending after I submitted supporting documents for a misdemeanor charge in 1995. I sent my Arizona packet off and it was returned because my Texas license to carry class was not conducted by an NRA certified instructor. What is nice is they returned my check and the fingerprint cards. I'm not really sure how to proceed if that is the requirement. My license to carry instructor his certified in police and military instruction. Please let me know how that goes for you. Right now I'm on day 4 of print pending here in Texas so I am hoping it doesn't take much longer before they mail it. Good luck!tonym wrote:So I sent the Arizona packet off today, I'm sure I will here back from them before I do Texas, but something odd happen today .. I really just stop carrying about every getting the Texas LTC ... I guess I just gave the great state of Texas $140 for nothing other then a headache on my end....

Re: "Waiting Room"
Bro I'm happy for you! Unfortunately, mine still says pending. Maybe because they didn't ask me for any documentation they will wait until they send me something before looking at what I already sent in? This is garbage... come on Arizona! Btw, I called them Wednesday to see if they got my application and she said they were only on the apps received on 20 January.K5CLC wrote:For my brothers n sisters out there waiting the slow wait of doom, be encouraged today... i posted this on another thread as well, my apologies,
LTC class 11/19

Waited, called, checked website

5 days later my status is green and im in

My wife has not requested the information from the other state, but I plan on helping her with that soon.
They already have it when I originally applied back in November with application.
