Re: On-line Application time?
I received mine about a week after applying online. I sent it back a week ago and they still don't have me entered. What happened to the 50 temps they hired? I know I'm looking at 3-4 months just for my renewal if there are no problems, but couldn't they atleast get me in the system.

Re: Could your pocket knife cost you your CHL?

I recieved my Pennsylvania license in 7 days mailbox to mailbox. I wish Texas would take a lesson from this. Up to ninety days for a renewal is not right.ScubaSigGuy wrote:Follow through with your Texas CHL and send off for a Pennsylvania license in the meantime. One of the forum members recieved his in 10 days.

Panhandle weather is hot in the summer, cold in the winter, and the most beautiful brown skies in the spring. ![rlol "rlol"](./images/smilies/rlol.gif)

Re: hi from a soon-to-be Texan (I hope!)
Welcome aboard. I hope you like it here. :txflag: Thanks, I'm learning a lot every day. Prior to going to Texas for the first time in 2004 (Plano), I'd never even touched a handgun. Then when I was there in April of this year, I was helping family clear out a garage after the death of her husband. ...

Sounds like fun. Now if we just had a range you could shoot more than just paper, that would be even more fun.
