Re: Attacking pit bull shot in League City
I can find link after link of guns being used to kill or maim humans and dogs all over the US. I can find link after link of people dying in car accidents involving Fords. Whats your point? Any animal large enough can injure or kill a person or similarly sized animal. You seem to be arguing that th...

Re: Attacking pit bull shot in League City
Not a pit only problem, plenty of other breeds need an established 'alpha' or it can cause behavioral problems in them as well. Yes, that's why I mentioned the other breeds in other decades. ;-) They are dogs with a purpose, if you take the purpose out then they need an outlet to vent... and that c...

Re: Attacking pit bull shot in League City
If I can recall correctly, the 80's was the doberman, 90's rottweilers, 2000's presa canarios, 2010-today pitbulls. The pitbull breed can have a big litter, hence that's why you can see many of them in the kill shelters, try bringing one to a shelter and most likely they will tell you that they are ...

Re: Ugh never ever order from.fwtguns.com
Several GunBroker F ratings on most recent feedback, including one no gun and no refund. More F ratings as you read, 13 out of 37 for that last 30 days. They are no longer a registered user on GunBroker - apparently items ending 1-31-18 were the last listings. I'd say something going south at the c...

Re: Suppresor Talk/ options
Caution: Thread hijack. For an NFA Trust. Are fingerprints required for all trusties and beneficiaries or just pictures? TIA Prints and pictures. Do you go to the sheriff's office to get the photo and fingerprint taken or does one go to the fingerprint place they went for the LTC? If it's the latte...

Can you call your credit card company and report fraud? Make sure to e-mail the seller first notifying them that they will be reported to the AG and your bank for fraud. That usually speeds up things. Good luck.

Re: Suppresor Talk/ opcions
You can build one on a Form 1, completely legally, for a third to a quarter of the retail price of buying one. I own three. One is a commercial AAC can in .308 caliber, one is a home built .308 caliber can, and one is a commercial Rugged Obsidian pistol can. My advice is to always go over-bore. You...

Re: Walther PPQ
I have never shot one, but I've heard (YouTube) and read that it had the best trigger of all striker-fired pistols, until the CZ P-10C came out. I bought a P-10C and I have to say the trigger is far better than my Glocks', XD or M&P, but it's still a striker-fired pistol. Chas. I think the HK V...

Re: Self defense isurance
You'll find out in all likelihood if you have the lawyer you need within 24-48hrs and if you're not confident in the competency of the lawyer provided you can always hire another. Does the service you got lets you switch lawyers at no charge? Why wait for those crucial hours and not research now fo...

Re: Self defense isurance
It has been a long time since I have looked into these things. I just poked around again reading a few of the popular ones. So as I am “emergency personnel” Texas State Guard, I have defence to 30.06. Does this mean that if I use my firearm inside such location or an arrested in such location I am ...

Re: Self defense isurance
Personally I have an attorney and bail bondsman on retainer. I pay a flat fee to have Alan Dershowitz available to me at any time for his regular fee of $1000hr, even if he’s in the middle of a seminar at Harvard Law School. My bondsman will provide a cash bond of up $1,000,000 in any court in the ...
