Small Highjack: I've spent mucho time in the Yucatan. 9 trips in all. Almost all spent in Cozumel where the diving and fishing is phenomenal.

I love that part of the world.

The British West Indies is also great as well the ABC Islands.

Plus, Venezuela is great for fishing and diving, but when Hugo Chavez came into power (yeah, he's dead, but his legacy keeps on giving) I quit going there.

What country or countries (if your serious about bailing) are in your consideration to immigrate to?

For me, at one time, New Zealand was in the mix. Then I found out they're big on socialism and insist husband and wife be referred to as partners and all the rest of things progressives love.

That was enough for me to toss em out of consideration.

After that, I started looking into Caribbean Islands. I love to scuba dive, fish, etc., but Islands have their own, unique problems or shortcomings, like poor medical care.

Ultimately, I decided to stay put.

At this point, I may dust off my moving consideration.

This country is in deep, deep trouble.
